Review: AppsGeyser Android Site Maker

AppsGeyser is an online tool designed to help people to create their own Android Mobile Site from an already made website, with no programming. We tried it out, here are our thoughts.

AppsGeyser - Create App
The whole set up process was very easy, with a large emulator at the side. You had the option to create an app from an already made website, HTML code or a PDF/DOC Document. The software they use to optimise the website for mobile display was not great, and the TECHnet website ended up looking far too large.
AppsGeyser - App Engine not Great!
Once the app was created you had the option to try it out on your Android device, Distribute it, or Monetise it. The Dashboard also provided a list of Download statistics, but it took a while for it to recognise a download. For some reason, the emulator on this page never worked. You can also send alerts to the app, bu you were limited to three alerts per month. If you needed more you had to contact their sales department. We would have liked it if you could just buy through PayPal a pack of 10 alerts for £5.

Dashboard with faulty emulator
The whole website looked like it had been designed in a bit of a rush, with badly spelt words, poor grammar and sentences like: "your actual app can look differently on your Android devices". We found this annoying when you were trying to read or edit any content.

Concluding this review, the AppsGeyser tool is a good idea, but it has been poorly designed and looks rushed. It takes a long time to go through simple steps.
